Heron’s Wey Girl Guide Camp 

A 50 acre, beautiful, secluded campsite situated on the banks of the River Wey, near Farnham, Surrey. 

The site will host a full itinerary of different activities during the festival. It’s also ideally located for visits to the Sculpture Park, Alice Holt Forest and Birdworld. 

Safe, secure and wild

Situated close to Farnham, Surrey we feel very privileged to have secured this delightful and tranquil site. With 50 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside, surrounded by woodland and partially bordered by the River Wey, it offers many opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. The site was formally opened by Lord Baden-Powell on 18th June 1977.

Accommodation choices 

This is a large open space campsite, all on one level. One area will be for SEN campers. 

No parking on campsites, however we have plenty of parking close by. 

Getting to the site 

Nearest bus and train stations are in Farnham. A taxi from Farnham to the site currently costs around £15. 

Nearest Shops 

Costcutter is 2.4 miles away. Tesco Express 3 miles away. Sainsbury’s + Lidl’s are 3.6 miles away.
